Kellie Smith Emerson is James R.’s youngest daughter. After working in retail, Kellie came to work as the receptionist for James R. Smith Trucking Co., Inc. in June of 1990. Since that time she has become a corporate officer of J.R.S. Logistics, Inc. and James A. Smith Transportation, Inc. Kellie’s husband Anthony is an Owner / Operator leased to James R. Smith Trucking Co., Inc. and runs in the flatbed division.

Kellie gave birth to their first son, Anthony "Zane" Emerson on May 5, 1999 and their 2nd son, Robert "Zeb" Emerson on June 28th, 2001. While Kellie still works a few hours a week she will be taking an extended leave of absence to spend some time at home with Zane & Zeb.
