Maggie has been with James R Smith since July 24, 1995. She has many duties which include, receptionist, Benefits Coordinator, Wal-Mart Clerk, Data entry, and credit checks for new or current customers. She has worked in almost every department over her 8 yrs with the company.

Maggie is married to Captain Jon Owens. They own a 28' tug boat, and are building a lighthouse in which they live on Smith Lake.

Maggie has 5 children. 2 boys, Aaron who lives in Birmingham, has 2 girls and a son on the way, and Alan who lives Boston and is a recent graduate of Mass. Maritime Academy. 3 girls, Rachel who lives in Grand Forks, North Dakota has 2 daughters and 1 son and another baby on the way, Rebekah who just received her Masters in Education lives in Chelsea, AL and has one daughter, and Amanda who still is at home, and is also an employee for James R. Smith.

She spends her spare time (what is that?) running around the lake in her little tug boat "Maggie", and is an active member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church.
